The Community of Christchurch Reclaim their Public Spaces with the REALLY FREE MARKET.
The fifth Market was another great success with beautiful weather combining once again to bring warmth to an otherwise chilli Christchurch winter.
Food NOT Bombs BBQ/Cafe warmed the soul with hundreds of Tasty nutritious Vegan Lentil Burgers keeping the people well feed.
Throughout the day several hundred people came together to talk,laugh,share and get to know each other.The Really FREE Market RECLAIMS Public Space for people to gather safely and enjoy the pleasures of creating a community space free from authority,coersion or control.The Bi-Monthly Market is a wonderful example of communities careing for each other in the spirit of Mutual Aid.
At this stage there are talks of FREE summer film and music festivals.Stay tuned into your community.

Imagine if people had got together like this a generation or so ago, like say in the '60's and hung out laughing together with free stuff and peace and love and all the gear. If they'd only had the brains to do that back then the whole world would be swtiched on by now to one big community space free from authority,coersion or control. ( whatever coersion means).
An opportunity missed.
