A few facts for all you bearded hippie tree hugging crazies out there.

1. Gibson Security are trusted by one of the most highly sought after Personal Protection Agencies in the world to look after the LotR stars, Peter Jackson, the King Kong cast & crew, Robbie Williams, David Bowie etc... An ex Royal SAS member trusts them, employs them regularly and tours them around the world. Tree hugging hippies are the least of their worries.

2. They are the best security company in NZ, anyone heard of First Contact Security Services? Perhaps you should find some information out about Darrell Stonnell and his crew (yes they're the ones that employ the rapists) before you slag off the Gibson Boys.

3. Throwing water over somebody is assault, you're lucky that Gibson don't press charges. (chch 3/11/06)

4. Its thanks to the Gibson boys that most of the big gigs in Wellington and other major centres happen.

So the next time you tree hugging hippies decide to go to a protest (at the expense of the taxpayer because we ALL KNOW that you don't earn your own living and that you're dole bludgers) take note of what the Gibson Boys say. The DO know better than you. They are backed by up by many many many people throughout NZ and they do a very good job.

We (an Auckland based law firm) are seeking the location and service address for Thomas (Andrew) Gibson of Gibson Security and The Temperance (in receivership). Any information would be appreciated.

With so much money owed around town to the builders, contractors and sub-contractors of Andrew Thomas Gibson's (actual name: Thomas Andrew GIBSON) failed enterprise why doesn't he do the decent thing (for once in his life) and pay the money he owes and fuck off?!

You will find Gibson on any given Friday or Saturday night getting pissed in the early hours at either the Establishment or Lagerfield, was the Last Supper Club. Pretty boy brother, Ashley Gibson drives a BMW but sleeps on a matress in his deceased mothers living room! The boys from Viard College were never bright just clever talkers like a con man or car dealer!

Get over yourself.

"Dear Steven,

Please find below an outline of events since the purchase of GHG Security from Andrew Gibson.

On the fourth of November an agreement was signed by Andrew Gibson, Michael Cornell and Richard Alexander to purchase 'GHG security' from Mr. Gibson. (Attached.)

Please note the description of 'GHG security' as "A divison of Gibson Hamilton Group Ltd". At the time of signing unknown to all parties but Mr. Gibson this company had been in fact struck off the companies register.

Mr. Cornell fronted the capital for the acquisition. Some $10,000 complied of the initial wages outstanding and $6500 paid to Andrew Gibson. Since the business has repaid Variety Flowers (A business belonging to Mr. Cornell.) the full amount.

By far the largest part of the business for GHG is Events and through the 'Queens Wharf Event Centre'our biggest customer and the largest venue we take care of. It was discussed and decided in early January that Mr. Gibson would work with the newly formed GHG security International for a 3-month period (The newly formed company.) as a contractor for events on a case by case basis.

On January 27th unbeknownst to myself or Mr. Cornell ‘Gibson Hamilton Group’ was incorporated under the companies act. During this time and for a week prior I had rung Mr. Gibson and he had not returned my calls. When I did speak to him he told me he had been very busy and with more than one company on the go I had no reason to doubt a friend of 10 years. I asked him if he would like me to roster staff for the event coming up(The Pinot Noir festival.) and he told me it was already in hand.

When I rang Andrew Gibson on the Monday following the Pinot Noir festival 28th –31st of January to ask for the hours staff had worked he informed me he had “decided to let Gibson Hamilton Group trade again” going on to tell me that he was disappointed. I expressed my disbelief and told him what I thought Mr. Cornell’s reaction would be. Very shortly afterward I telephoned Mr. Cornell to inform him of these events. Since that discussion Gibson Hamilton Group has continued to trade at another Event Centre show ‘A Perfect Circle’ on the 16th of February. Michael Cornell has in fact had his lawyer send a letter to Neville Brown of the Event Centre and also a communication asking that the money paid for the business be repaid within seven days (The seven Days ending Friday 20th Feb.)

It seems Mr. Gibson has justified his actions to himself somehow and at the time of my email to him (Attached.) that he had had no legal advice on the matter. Something that I'll need from you also if I am to pursue the matter in an informed manner.

Following the events described above I spoke myself with Neville Brown the manager of the Wellington festival and convention Centre. He was unaware of much that had transpired and in the meantime I myself had taken out a loan to purchase Mr. Cornell’s part of the business, as he no longer wanted to be a part of it due to Mr. Gibson’s breach of the trade restriction.

Mr. Gibson also owns a share holding of an electrical wholesale company and supplies the Wellington Festival and Convention Centre. Also WFCC had dealt with Mr. Gibson in the past in relation to security and this made negotiation with Neville Brown from my own stand point very hard.

Indeed a restriction of trade clause of this nature is designed that the business purchaser may build a relationship with the clients. By Mr. Gibson’s breach this was a fruitless agreement.

Disbelieving and hopeful that Mr. Gibson, who was a friend of 10 years no less, would change his stance I waited. When it became apparent that Mr. Gibson had no intention of making reparation or honoring our original agreement I spoke with a number of lawyers. Ranging from community law offices to large practices, some giving me bad advice and for the most part raising fears of an insurmountable cost of any legal action to protect my interests.

With GHG’s largest clients already trading again with Mr. Gibson through no fault of their own, the business had lost considerable revenue. This did nothing to quell any financial worries about legal cost.

I spoke with Rowan Cooper in Johnsonville who sent a letter requesting that Mr. Gibson stop trading immediately of which you have a copy.

Since it has become apparent that Mr. Gibson has been expanding the business and has also brought in new Investors/Directors. One of whom I note has left and had nothing to do with the company since your letter. Damage to my company name continues due to Mr. Gibson’s trading and denial that the sale of the business ever took place. Mr. Gibson’s staff continues to wear our GHG uniforms and have been contracted to strip clubs wearing the same uniform. Prompting some of our clients to ask questions, while this may have been appropriate for Mr. Gibson in the past it is not the sort of work we would take on due to the nature of our clientele and our ongoing relationships with those clients.

Recently Mr. Gibson and or his managers approached all of our Hospitality clients saying that they were 'GHG' and asked those clients to switch to there services and were successful with one client again due to Mr. Gibson’s historical relationship with the client. Obviously it is Mr. Gibson’s intention to 'take the money and run' as it were,using his marked advantage of previous relationship with many of those Wellington clients in specific contradiction to the agreement drafted and signed by him November 4th 2003."

Wish I'd done some research on Gibson Security prior to working for them on Wellington Cup Day 09'. Myself along with at least four others haven't been paid! And after reading the above aren't likely!

Mr Gibson you really need to look at making your websites a little more professional - having shit loads of drunken pictures on them makes them look trashy to say the least - fantastic web designing!!! Yeah right!!!

hmmmmm - try saying that to the people who worked hard for this man & didn't get paid because he took off to Australia for a holiday with that money - as for "skilled" - it would be interesting to see how many of these "guards" have the required licenses/certificates - I would say - not many....
