The management don't even have a Purchasing Officer - When things under warranty break or fail they just allow staff to go out and buy another item, they think its to much trouble to keep the warranty info. so that they can get a replacement. Remember its Taxpayers money they are spending all the time!!!
For clients personal items they use the clients money to replace things. For household items they waited until things were so repaired over and over that they were beyond repair.I used to work there in the dark ages. I would be more worried about how the staff treated the clients at this place. IE Physically assaulting and treating them like sh*t. Management let them get away with it. Oh hang on, they "investigate" accused staff, then sweep it under the mat and allow them to continue, leaving the staff who do not condone this type of carry on, to be marked as narks and they then get workplace bullying tactics used against them to make them leave. Never put a family member in this place!

What about the staff in some houses deciding that the house needs a new colour scheme because they don't like the present colours and perhaps ripe the curtains so that different coloured ones can be purchased. More money!!!
I would say by that comment you work/ed there. I could probably name the people you mean, but wont bother as they deny EVERYTHING. There were some awesome cients at Brackenridge, but 80% of the staff were corrupt, or easily led. I couldn't wait to see the back of this place, but still worry about how the clients fare.

so who is looking after the mentals inside? are they running the bloody place now!?
Re: Photos from Day 2 of Brackenridge Estate Strike
That would be appropriate, since the same thing is happening with the country as a whole.
