Demo outside Embassy of Greece

in

There was a demonstration outside the embassy of Greece today on the 12/12/08.

A demonstration took place today outside the Greek embassy, to denounce the murder of 16 year old Alexandros Grigoropoulos in Athens on December 6th of this month & solidarity with the anarchist demonstrating throughout Greece.

Heavy security awaited the arrival of people at the entrance of the embassy, two cops stood either side of the doors, private security and police photographer with embassy staff outside taking photos of the demonstrators. There was a report from a member of the public who witnessed a photographer from inside the carpark across the road lying down behind the barrier and hiding whilst photographing the demo.

One of the banner's read in greek: 'No police, no police violence'

We have much to learn from our comrades in Greece.

The docility and apathy of the general populace here; to accept mainstream media lies, lies of corporations and the state. To pretend that there is nothing we can do about our many increasing dark problems; is a crime in itself.

We are all powerful, when we realise it. To create beautiful and fair ways of living together on this planet, proper relationships.

But those who choose to exploit, dominate and control us because they are greedy power hungry money war mongers... standing in our way.

And you cannot TALK to these people. We must take back our fucking lives and our freedo, our ability to organise our communtiies, our society the way we choose...

Every bank, court house and prison are objects which serve the elite in controlling, oppressing and exploiting us.

They must go.

Bring on revolutionary solidarity with comrades of Greece...

The man noted as "Embassy Security" is a member of the Diplomatic Protection Squad.

Info from the police website on the DPS
"The Diplomatic Protection Squad (DPS) provides personal protection in New Zealand for visiting guests of Government (such as visiting Royalty and the Prime Ministers and Presidents of other countries).

The squad is also responsible for the protection for our own dignitaries (for example the Governor-General, the Prime Minister and Ministers of the Crown) both in New Zealand and overseas.

The Diplomatic Protection Squad (DPS) was formed in the mid 1970's after a number of terrorist incidents overseas."

Wow what an absolute waste of time, no wonder the guy inside is laughing at you guys. Abolish state violence, but hey lets just replace it with mindless mob thuggery and burn & loot the businesses of workers.

Re: Demo outside Embassy of Greece

Howard Fraud lied again today on Radio NZ's Nine to Noon programme by saying the police weren't interested in targeting protest groups who hold placards outside buildings.

Re: Demo outside Embassy of Greece

Do you freaks actually care that Greek Embassies in Rome and Moscow have both been bombed? Or are you just going to not seem to care about something like that?

"Greek Callout: day of international action against state murders."

State murders? What about all the shops, banks, courthouses, Christmas trees and rioters throwing bombs at police? You justify that vileness?

Re: Re: Demo outside Embassy of Greece

youre lies are weak, and they are not working...

Re: Re: Re: Demo outside Embassy of Greece

"youre lies are weak, and they are not working..."

Says the "nonviolent anarchist" whom supports vandalizing and bombing of Greek embassies. Do you really think the Greek Embassy staff are "evil"?

If that's the sentiment, then exposes what you really are all about.

So property matters but one human life doesn't? Who's been brainwashing you?

'anarchist demonstrating'

They're throwing fucking fire-bombs at things. Why are these people not being shot for being terrorists? Let's face it. If you New Zealand protesters started protesting something by throwing firebombs and stones through windows, that'd be making the population live in fear. Making you Terrorists.

If the population shows its anger like this, through violence, then it deserves to be put down.
