We are showing a few short films on the current sufferings of the Tamil People in Sri Lanka, which, with good reason, is being called genocide. Some of the film material was shot recently in the refugee camps, and there is also good explanation of the historical background to the current violence.
HOW TO GET THERE?
DOWNTOWN BUSES: alight at bottom of Anzac Ave. Please walk on in the direction the bus went, then go up the outdooor concrete steps. At the top, The Peace Place is 50 metres on your left.
TRAINS: we are 300 metres from Britmart train station.
PARKING: limited street parking, free after 6pm. Parking buildings in Fort St, Shortland St. etc.
