Dunedin Cops off Campus Protest

in

Yesterday at 2pm, about 100 people assembled on a cold, grey and drizzly day to protest against the presence of plainclothes police on Otago University campus, the arrests of NORML activists by the previously mentioned undercover police, and the increasingly frequent use of Campus Watch, Campus Cops and the police to crack down on political activism, dissent and civil disobedience.

The protest was organised jointly by NORML, the International Socialist Organisation and the Students association.

Re: Dunedin Cops off Campus Protest

Fucking ODT claimed that only 40 people were at the protest. There were many more than that, but I'm not surprised to see the ODT distorting the facts...

Re: Dunedin Cops off Campus Protest

media distorting facts is something new to you? WOW.

Fucking cops. Good luck with dealing with that people. Sounds horrible. Find out who they are and follow them instead.

Channel 9 was pretty balanced about it.

Too bad people only accidentally switch to it.

Fact distortion is a fact of life with the cannabis debate.
Just look at the propaganda the government paid researchers pump out, real science is rare.
