"No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

mangled car-sm.jpg
Israel's bloody seige of Gaza is continuing. unabated. In a recent five-day military offensive in the Gaza Strip, 47 Palestinians have been killed and around 250 injured. In the past four months more than 350 Palestinians have been killed.

Tanks and armored vehicles have been surrounding the Beit Hanoun hospital for the last six days and preventing medical volunteers and victims of violence from reaching it. On Sunday, 21 year old ambulance driver Ahmad Madhun and medical volunteer Mustafa Habib were murdered and Dannielle Abu Samra was wounded while trying to tend to the wounded.

People are starving; they have no water or electricity or telecommunications. Vast areas of fertile productive land have been destroyed. This incursion came on top of the collapsed economic situation for all Palestinians inside Gaza. Al-Awda Hospital’s teams can reach the village outskirts where it is also very dangerous, but medical rescue teams are not allowed inside the village without a very high level of coordination. Nobody is allowed in or out of the village.

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

These are a few points that I don’t understand with the so- called Palestinian struggle.
i. Its principle is a religious one, but a religion sets out to achieve its purpose by intifada, jihad, and violent protest including suicide.
ii. They seek to drive away and destroy Israel, but then they expect Israel to sit there and do nothing.
iii. When Israel defends itself, Palestine expects the world community to come to its aid.
iv. To that end, Palestine’s struggle is self-imposed, and has no one else to blame. Palestine’s mentality cannot expect to improve in open world of reasonable negotiations whether its trade, diplomacy, sports and peaceful relations.

If Palestine cannot hold a civilized dialogue with other nations of the world including Israel, then it probably has no place in the modern world.

Re: Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

The best way to understand what is happening to the Palestinian people is to read a unbiased history of Palestine and the State of Israel.

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

i. the Palestinian struggle is not a religious one, it is a struggle for national liberation and human rights. many of the most commited Palestinian activists are christian Palestinians.

ii. Most Palestinians want to coexist with Jews in a one state solution. the vast majority of Palestinians want a non-violent intifada, thats a fact.

iii. If you think what is happening in Gaza and the West bank is self-defence you are sadly mistaken. Even the Israeli prime minister says this.

iv. to that end, you are sadly mistaken Palestine has for a long time had open trade, diplomacy, sports and peaceful relations with other nations. You cannot say the same for Israel.

Palestine can have a civilised dialogue with the world, and often does. The Israeli state cannot as this link shows of the number of UN resolutions that Israel is in breach of:
www.jatonyc.org/UNresolutions.html

Palestine has a place in the world. However, zionism, Colonisation, apartheid and murder has no place in this modern world.

the death toll rises...

***Please distribute widely***

Dear Colleague, Fellow Human, NATFHE Member,

The murder toll in Gaza reached 385 Palestinians including at least 95 children and 24 women, with another 1271 injured, some critically, including 375 children and 59 women since the beginning of Israel's 'Operation Summer Rains' June 2006.

Both the UN and EU have now strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities.

The Israeli crimes against humanity are not limited to Palestine. The contamination legacy of Israeli 'enriched uranium bombs' used in southern Lebanon is just surfacing.

The revelations about the Israeli use of enriched uranium bombs come amid the mounting casualty toll claimed by the 1.2 million unexploded cluster bombs fired by Israeli artillery during the last three days of the conflict [despite the ceasefire]. The cluster munitions have killed many people, mostly women and children, maiming more than 120 civilians and wounding many more.

At the dawn of 21st Century, you would think humans have the inalienable right not to be killed or maimed in their front yard.

If you oppose the premeditated Israeli atrocities against humanity, please endorse our Petition and post it on your network(s).

Sincerely,

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

What is a Palestinian by Joseph Farah

Ever since I wrote a column last October called "Myths of the Middle
East," readers from around the world have asked me what is meant by the
term "Palestinian."

The simple answer is that it means whatever Yasser Arafat wants it to
mean.

Arafat himself was born in Egypt. He later moved to Jerusalem. Indeed,
most of the Arabs living within the borders of Israel today have come
from some other Arab country at some time in their life.

For instance, just since the beginning of the Oslo Accords, more than
400,000 Arabs have entered the West Bank or Gaza. They have come from
Jordan, Egypt and, indirectly, from every other Arab country you can
name.

The Arabs have built 261 settlements in the West Bank since 1967. We
don't hear much about those settlements. We hear instead about the
number of Jewish settlements that have been created. We hear how
destabilizing they are -- how provocative they are. Yet, by comparison,
only 144 Jewish settlements have been built since 1967 -- including
those surrounding Jerusalem, in the West Bank and in Gaza.

The number of Arab settlers is based on statistics collected on the
Allenby Bridge and other collection points between Israel and Jordan. It
is based on the number of Arab day workers entering but not leaving
Israel. The numbers were published by the Israel Central Bureau for
Statistics during the administration of Binyamin Netanyahu and
subsequently denied as "recording errors" by the Ehud Barak
administration.

Of course, the Barak administration had incentives for denying the high
illegal immigration numbers, given its heavy political reliance on Arab
voters.

Is this a new phenomenon? Absolutely not. This has always been the case.
Arabs have been flocking to Israel ever since it was created and even
before, coinciding with the wave of Jewish immigration into Palestine
prior to 1948.

Winston Churchill said in 1939: "So far from being persecuted, the Arabs
have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has
increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish
population."

And that raises a question I never hear anyone ask: If Israel's policies
make life so intolerable for Arabs, why do they continue to flock to the
Jewish state?

This is an important question as we see the Palestinian debate now shift
to the issue of "the right of return."

According to the most liberal claims by Arab sources, some 600,000 to
700,000 Arabs left Israel in and around 1948 when the Jewish state was
created. Most were not forced out by Jews, but rather left at the urging
of Arab leaders who had declared war on Israel.

Yet, there are far more Arabs living in these territories now than ever
before. And many of those who left in 1948 and thereafter actually had
roots in other Arab nations.

This is why it is so difficult to define the term "Palestinian." It
always has been. What does it mean? Who is a "Palestinian"? Is it
someone who came to work in Palestine because of a bustling economy and
job opportunities? Is it someone who lived in the region for two years?
Five years? Ten years? Is it someone who once visited the area? Is it
any Arab who wants to live in the area?

Arabs outnumber Jews in the Middle East by a factor of about 100 to one.
But how many of those hundreds of millions of Arabs are actually
Palestinians? Not very many.

The Arab population of Palestine was historically extremely low -- prior
to the Jews' renewed interest in the area beginning in the early 1900s.

For instance, a travel guide to Palestine and Syria, published in 1906
by Karl Baedeker, illustrates the fact that, even when the Islamic
Ottoman Empire ruled the region, the Muslim population in Jerusalem was
minimal.

The book estimates the total population of the city at 60,000, of whom
7,000 were Muslims, 13,000 were Christians and 40,000 were Jews.

"The number of Jews has greatly risen in the last few decades, in spite
of the fact that they are forbidden to immigrate or to possess landed
property," the book states.

Even though the Jews were persecuted, still they came to Jerusalem and
represented the overwhelming majority of the population as early as
1906.

Why was the Muslim population so low? After all, we're told that
Jerusalem is the third holiest city in Islam. Surely, if this were a
widely held belief in 1906, more of the devout would have settled there.

The truth is that the Jewish presence in Jerusalem and throughout the
Holy Land persisted throughout its bloody history, as is documented in
Joan Peters' milestone history on the origins of the Arab-Jewish
conflict in the region, "From Time Immemorial."

It is also true that the Arab population increased following Jewish
immigration into the region. The Arabs came because of economic
activity. And, believe it or not, they came because there was more
freedom and more opportunity in Israel than in their own homelands.

What is a Palestinian? If any Arabs have legitimate claims on property
in Israel, it must be those who were illegally deprived of their land
and homes after 1948. Arafat has no such claim. And few if any of those
shooting, bombing and terrorizing Israelis today do either.

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

Islam- Exposing the Danger
In past years, as more and more of the words of Biblical Prophets come true , the world is being exposed increasingly to the newest form of "religion" - called Islam.
Indeed, Islam has existed for centuries now and not been able to truly conquer the world as it was inferior to all other religions.
But what is happening now? This religion, which it's outmost purpose is to obliterate any sign of a non-Muslim world, a religion that only degraded over the years is finally up to it's destructive way.
How can it happen ? Islam is not as acceptable as Christianity and has far less spirituality than Hinduism. In fact, Islam is a strange transformation of the pagan symbol of the moon worshiping and the "Koran" which was written by the insane and illiterate Muha-Mad, and was himself a devoted pagan and also a sadistic murderer. It’s clear that Islamic values are far less than normal in today’s Gentile society, in fact the bare acceptance of Islam - which is clearly degenerative and violent, which excepts lies , treason , hatred , crime , genocide , incest , torture , drug use , slave trade and more but forbids their women from being educated and the penalty of alcohol is death - indicates that this "religion" is abnormal. The "holy" Koran itself is a collection of various rip-offs from the Jewish Bible , the Christian New Testimony , early Egyptian and Iraqi myths and the original Allah [the moon god] traditions , clearly poorly edited and any sane person who reads it understands that the Koran has been written by mentally ill degenerate animals.
For example it mixes up between Miriam, sister of Moses and puts her as the mother of Jesus - 1300 years were not of a consideration to Muha-Mad who was truly mad. Despite all these facts, Islam is being excepted by more and more nations around the Globe. If you want to see where Islam exists - just ask where there is war or violence now and there you have the answer ...
Islam indeed doesn't have a pattern of a regular religion , neither monotheistic nor idealistic - Islam is much closer to a fatal viral disease.
It starts at a healthy body [body=country] by spreading violent messages by mass information and claiming that all the people must except the way of Muhammed , embrace Allah and return to their roots [this even in countries where Islam has never been heard before] like in Israel. After that many people will fear the propaganda and go to Mosques. Now Mosques are the main weapon of Muslim propaganda, they brainwash people by playing on their darkest fears.
In the first stages 50% or so convert to Islam (see Malaysia) then the infestation turns violent - Islam is not tolerant to any religion that exists in the body.
Islam starts driving away all the "infidels" using the following means:
1: Quick and efficient breeding - most Muslim families have 8-14 children and this is how they enforce majority in any country they infest.
2: Muslim Terrorists from all around the world are more than happy to assist their "brothers" to make another "Nation of Islam" by wiping out some of the infidels.
3: When they finally have a large percentage of the population by intense breeding , Muslims receive weapons from other Islamic nations in order to go to "Jihad" (holy war) against the infidels that still do not agree to convert or run away from their country.
In many of those wars the Muslims win due to support from the other infested bodies and to massive outnumbering of the opponents. Muslims also have the support of the Western Countries that were not severely infested but wish to help the Muslims due to their large percentage of the world population and extreme wealth of the Islamic infested bodies.
4: If the Muslims win the "holy" War against the infidels they start intensive genocide against the non-Muslim minorities.
In the first stages the minorities are being restricted with many Nazi-Like laws which makes many of them leave. At this stage the percentage of the non-Muslims is reduced to 12%, just like in Israel before the Jews stood up and fought the Muslims winning part of their land back. Now the so-called “Palestinian” Arabs are putting a false claim on Israeli land. Including what they call “Westbank” which is actually named Sammaria and Judea in Hebrew.
In the second stages , these infidels who do not want to convert , are being Fanatically Terrorized and complete Genocide is committed against them by the Muslim foreign invaders. At this level the minorities are reduced to 1-3% but the "holy" War continues. Various "moderate" Islamic groups are declared "non-muslims" and war starts between Muslim factions. (Like in Algeria and Lebanon)
There are no really "moderate" muslim factions - it's just that "moderate" is a curse to a Muslim and that's how each group describes the other.
There are several Muslim factions , each of them are more violent and genocidal = The Shias are killed by Sunnis who are killed by Talibanists , Vahhabites hate all other Muslim factions.
For example - in Afghanistan where the Talibanists are at power every non-Talibanist is exterminated or enslaved.
Let's take a look at countries at different degrees of Islamic Infestations :
India - only small percentage Muslims , Hindus rule the country.
The Islamic Infestation is at the breeding stage - The Muslims enlarge their population and make contacts with other various Muslim countries , mostly Pakistan , however in some distant areas they are Already a majority and instantly battles come up and the Reign of Terror rises.
Malaysia - 55% Muslim , Country of "moderate" Islam
Muslims already at power , Many laws against the non-muslims very similar to Nierenberg Laws - Stage of driving out or converting most of the minorities.
Kosovo region - now 85% Muslim
Before Tito Muslims already have tried to infest the region but their allies , the Nazis and the Bosnians lost the WWII so they had to wait at the breeding stage until Yugo fell apart. Then the Muslims started terrorizing the 60% minorities consisting mostly of Serbs and Gypsies. They formed the Islamic military force "KLA" and started fighting against the Serbs , whose right to Kosovo was based on History , but Muslims hate history as their anachronistic Koran states. Gypsies and Serbs are driven out almost completely after the KLA Jihad that followed the entrance of the NATO forces inside Kosovo. Now Kosovo is at the beginning of the final stage of Islamic infection.
Afghanistan - 100% Muslims , State of Taliban. This is what every Islam-infested body can expect to become at the end of the process.
Afghanistan has already passed through the Jihad stage , and through minority Genocide stage. Even muslims who are not of the Talibanist faction are considered "Infidels" and traitors.
All languages besides Arabic are banned ,men commit pedophilia against children and animals, beard lengths measured by religion police , women are slaves , children are taught to commit genocidal violence by and sent to various Islam infested countries to help the Infestation there.
Afghanistan is the model for all Islam infested bodies. It is the fate of any country that excepts Islam as a legitimate religion. Even U.S which is considered to be a "free" country that will never allow such a thing to exist on it's territory is already in the beginning of the first stage of the infestation. See Louis Farrakhan and Khalih Muhammed's Jihad organization , Nation Of Islam.
You have seen what Islam represents , but is the question "why" answered ? Why NOW ???
Because it is clear that this era is the era of the Final Battle - the Battle between the Evil and Right , Between G-d and Satan between Judaism and Islam , between Men and Men ...
It is no accident that Islam starts it's biological clock by starting the infestation now , when Jews have returned to their homeland , according to the Bible , a sign of a close redemption. It is well known that before the redemption there is a war between the Good and Evil that will determine who of the men is worthy of G-d's redemption. The reason G-d has given Satanic Islam such a power over people is to make the redemption as impressive as the Egypt redemption as it is stated in Isaiah.
In these times it is required for all who really want to be redeemed to fight the Devil , fight the Islamic virus without remorse.
How to fight such an evil , demonic , satanic power ?
The answer is - always get down to the bare roots of the problem. The root of Islam is the Arab world - it is the fortress and the gateway of the Islamic disease into our realm. The Arabs are the most violant , disgusting , vicious and venomous creatures on the face of the planet. They are chosen as the best representatives of Satan and of course the Islamic "prophet" Muhha-mad was an Arab. Arabs were genetically evil much before Islam. They were the ones who made the slave-trade their main profession , robbery and murder their hobby and sand their only friend.
After the demonic incarnation of the Devil(Muha-mad) , gave them the fascist book called the Koran, they were very excited by it's violent nature that allowed them to exterminate entire nations and conquest foreign countries with the backup of a "religion" of their own. Of course the main thing they liked about Islam is that it's main motive is racist hatred of all "infidels" and it's most holy purpose is to humiliate and destroy the Jews who laughed at the evil degenerate Muha-mad’s face when he showed them his "holy" book. >The Arabs conquered Jerusalem which was of NO importance for them but they built dozens of mosques in Jerusalem and 3 on the place of the Jewish Temple that was ruined by Romans , as a symbol of conquest and their hatred for the Jewish religion.
The Arabs are the Cockroaches that spread the virus of Islam that threatens the world in this critical time. The Arabs must be eliminated just as the Mosquitos are eliminated to stop the malaria virus. Unfortunately this is the only solution - dealing with the Evil in peaceful ways will only be seen by the Evil as an invitation to commit the next Genocide.

Re: Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

I cannot believe that you believe the things you say.
Your hatred of Arabs is very frightening. I remember reading an article where an ss officer in the gestapo made similar comments about jews in 1940. It made me sick then to see a race of people dehumanised and it still does.

These sorts of arguments have been used in Northern Ireland, South Africa, Bosnia,Germany, Austria, Poland and Russia. Osama Bin Laden probably uses similar tactics to incite hatred for Americans. This typically misinformed filth probably surfaces to justify every act of genocide or despotism.

As a Catholic from NewZealand I have no personal axe to grind but I hope no arab muslim child has the misfortune to read this disgusting diatribe. It would surely break their heart.

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

From PLO Terrorist to Lover of Zion
18:53 Jan 27, '04 / 4 Shevat 5764

“He neither sleeps nor slumbers, the Guardian of Israel,” sang former PLO terrorist Walid Shoebat before a crowd of students – many of them Jewish – at the University of Toronto last week.

In stark contrast to the PLO songs he recited growing up, with words like, “Sharpen my bones into swords and make my flesh into Molotov cocktails,” Shoebat, now 44, sings a very different tune.

Walid Shoebat’s visit to the University of Toronto, together with Israel National Radio’s Tovia Singer, was but the latest of the former terrorist’s endeavors on behalf his latest cause: Israel and the Jewish people. Shoebat has related his extraordinary journey over the airwaves and before audiences across North America, encouraging people to “wake up and smell the hummus” before Islam succeeds in implementing its program of global Jihad.

Born in 1960 to an Arab Muslim father and an American Christian mother, Walid grew up mainly in the village of Beit Sahour, near Bethlehem. His parents met while his father was studying in the United States, married, and returned to Jordanian-controlled Beit Sahour the year Walid was born. Once there, his father confiscated his mother's passport and prevented her from leaving. After a brief stint in Saudi Arabia, the Shoebats moved to Jericho, where the young Walid was enrolled in a Jordanian-run school.

“The first thing we learned growing up was to hate Jews,” Walid recalled. “I’ll never forgot the first song I learned in school, ‘Arabs our beloved and Jews our dogs.’ I used to wonder at that time who the Jews were, but repeated the words with the rest of the kids without any knowledge of the meaning.”

Soon after the Six-Day-War his father transferred him to a school in Bethlehem “where I grew in the faith of Islam, in which I was fed the idea that one day a fulfilment of an ancient prophecy by the Muslim prophet Mohammed would come to pass,” recalled Shoebat. “The prophecy foretold a battle in which the Holy Land would be recaptured and the elimination of the Jews would take place in a massive slaughter. ‘The day of judgment shall not come to pass until a tribe of Muslims defeat a tribe of Jews,’ it said, ‘in Jerusalem and the surrounding nations’.”

It was not long before Walid’s education led him to get involved in various terrorist activities. He routinely stirred up riots and lynch mobs, throwing firebombs and rocks at soldiers and pelting Jewish worshippers at the Western Wall. He even beat an Israeli soldier, with the intent to kill, but the soldier escaped at the last second.

He was a student of mob psychology, able to stir up a crowd of people, turning them into a bloodthirsty mob. “When I saw the Ramallah lynching [of two IDF reservists in the first days of the Oslo War –ed.],” said Shoebat, “I knew exactly how these people were feeling inside of them as they did this. Praising Allah…all those people screaming Allahu Akhbar together – you feel this indescribable ecstasy where you literally want to lunge at anyone called a Jew.”

It wasn’t long before Shoebat was initiated into Yassir Arafat’s Fatah terror group. “I was recruited by a guy named Mahmoud Abu-Amr, from Jerusalem,” he recalled. “I met up with him on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where he gave me a very sophisticated explosive device he had assembled.” The bomb – an explosive charge hidden in a loaf of bread – was intended for the Bank Leumi branch in Bethlehem. “We smuggled it from the Temple Mount,” said Shoebat, “I was walking – on the Temple Mount – with explosives and a timer in my hand. We walked to the walls and escaped so as to avoid the checkpoints. I went to the bus station and took a bus to Bethlehem, fully ready to give my life if I had to.” Even then, though, he had a pang of uncertainty. “At the last minute I saw some children walking around near the bank and decided ‘this is ridiculous’ and threw it on a rooftop nearby.”

Shoebat says he was not motivated by nationalism or the desire for self-determination as much as he was by his Islamic education. “I was not only a terrorist, but I was terrorized by my beliefs,” Shoebat recalled, “since I had to gain enough merit and good deeds to go to heaven but never was sure if my good deeds would outweigh my bad deeds in the scale when I would be judged by God, it was taught to us that to die fighting the Jews [would] ease Allah's anger towards my sin and I [would] be secured a good spot in heaven with beautiful wide eyed women to fulfill my most intimate desires, so either way [through actual attacks on Jews, or if I were to be killed in the attempt –ed.] I would win – terror was the only way.”

At age 18, after spending several months in Israeli prisons, Shoebat went to study in the United States becoming an activist in Chicago and fund-raising for the PLO. “Even living in America – a civilized society, if you will – I still had not changed my mind one bit about Israel and the Jews.”

The transformation came in 1993, when a newly married Shoebat tried to convert his Catholic wife to Islam. “I claimed that the Jews had corrupted the Bible and were prophet-killers,” Shoebat said. His wife asked him to prove his claims to her so a determined Shoebat purchased his first Bible in order to show his wife the contradictions and corruptions introduced to it by the Jews.

“In 1993 I asked the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to reveal to me whether the Bible was indeed corrupted as I was taught or if it were the truth and the Koran was the false document,” Shoebat said. Through parallel study of the Bible and the Koran he soon came to a logical crossroads: “Either the Jews had indeed changed the scripture – because how could God be on the side of evil people, or the Koran was false, and I was the evil one,” Shoebat recalled. “I then decided to examine the history from both sides – to weigh each sides. It was then that I began to see the spiritual link between the Jewish people and their land.”

Slowly a change overcame the veteran Jihadist. “After reading the Hebrew Bible, about all of the righteous wars of Israel – from biblical times until the present – it dawned on me,” said Shoebat. “How could it be that Allah is the true God if the Six-Day-War in 1967 resulted the greatest victory for the Jews since Joshua’s encirclement of Jericho. What’s more is that Israel’s victory – unlike Muslim conquests full of rape, pillaging and massacre – brought freedom for all peoples and religions. Everyone [his fellow Arabs living in Jericho at the time –ed.] saw and everyone remembers this but unfortunately people today deny the truth of what they.”

Shoebat decided at that point to turn away from the path of terrorism and Jihad. “I woke up my wife and said ‘Maria – I think I was wrong to try to convert you to Islam.’”

He embarked on a path of reconciliation – experiencing deep regret for his past actions as well as anger toward those who indoctrinated him to carry them out. “I deeply wish to be granted forgiveness from the soldier who I almost killed,” Shoebat said on Tovia Singer's radio show. He said he remembered hearing a second soldier call him ‘Amnon’. “I would beg Amnon to please understand that I underwent an educational occupation of hatred which brainwashed my mind to hate Jews. We were taught it since we were children and I did not know any better.”

Determined to let his people know what he knows, he soon began speaking to Muslim groups – demanding that they confront what Islam either always was – or has become. When confronted with what has become somewhat of a mantra since September 11th – that “true Islam is a religion of peace,” Shoebat responds, “I grew up there – I was there at the mosques, the ummahs and the religious schools. I know what is still being taught today in the textbooks and by the religious leaders – so my challenge to those who claim Islam is not the religion of terror we see today, is what have you done to stand against it and say ‘this is wrong’?”

“What the West does not understand about Islam,” Shoebat said on Tovia Singer’s radio broadcast, “is that Jihad has stages. If Muslims have the upper hand then Jihad is waged by force. If Muslim’s don’t have the upper hand then Jihad is waged through financial and political means. Since Muslims do not have the upper hand in America or Europe, they talk about peace while supporting Hamas and Hezballah. The whole idea of Islam being a peaceful religion emanates from that silent stage of Jihad."

The Imam (Islamic cleric) of Orange County, California, a guest on Singer’s radio show as well, took issue with Shoebat’s claims, saying that ‘Jihad’ represents an inner struggle and not the genocidal slaughter of infidels called for by Osama bin Ladin. Shoebat unblinkingly refuted the cleric’c claims, reciting verse after verse of Koranic scripture in its original Arabic and translating into English. “There are over one hundred quotes by Mohammad regarding Jihad – I could recite each one of them but we would be here all day. Every single one refers specifically to Jihad by the sword, by killing, by taking no prisoners – with only one quote referring to an internal struggle – called for by Mohammad after the complete conquest and occupation of Arabia.” He said that such claims were typical of the Islamic leadership in America, and are consumed eagerly by western audiences who do not want to believe that one of the major world religions poses such a danger to humanity.

Asked whether he believes that Musims in America truly adhere to the program of Jihad he described, Shoebat qualified his statements saying, “Afghans in the U.S. and Iranians who left Iran are predominately peaceful people. The Arabic speaking communities in America, however, do indeed support Osama bin Ladin and Hamas.” He cites a direct correlation between adherence to Islam and support of terrorism. “The less they know about Islam the more peaceful they are,” he said.

“There are those that reject many of the classical sources and truly focus on the peaceful verses of the Koran, seeking to twist the verses because they truly do not want to engage in violence,” said Shoebat, “but if those preachers would debate Osama bin Ladin, bin Ladin would clearly win because the words of the Koran are on his side.”

Shoebat, himself an evangelical Christian says it is unfortunate that Christian Arabs in Israel choose a theology of Jew hatred as well, even while experiencing persecution and intimidation by the Muslim majority. “The Christian Arabs in Israel get their education from their leaders and the Catholic church,” laments Shoebat. “They pretty much adhere to the Replacement Theology – that God replaced Israel with the Catholic church. They have also come up with a new Liberation Theology, co-opted by the Palestinian movement.”

Although Shoebat pulls no punches, his transformation has not been easy. “I was branded a traitor by my father and my family,” he said, “they say that I have betrayed the cause, the religion, the culture – everything.” Shoebat believes his treatment by his family is indicative of Islam’s fatal flaw. “If Islam truly were a peaceful religion then my family might consider me a nut case, but my own brother would not threaten to kill me, my family would not have confiscated my land and demanded I come back to Bethlehem and declare that ‘there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet.’ If I don’t believe in Islam anymore why should I declare such a thing? The fact is that Mohammed clearly demanded that one who changes his faith must be killed. What part of 'kill' is not understood by those who claim Islam is a religion of peace? Is it any wonder why I have to live in hiding and be so careful even though I live in a free society here in America?”

Soeobat insists, however, that his pursuit of truth has been worthwhile and sees it as his mission to be a voice of true peace. "I come to you out of love for your people and your Bible, to say my people are wrong,” he told a group of Jewish students in Berkeley, “the Arabs and Muslims are wrong.”

Although he feels it is of utmost importance to speak to Jewish groups – to warn them not to relinquish parts of the Land of Israel to Islamic terrorists – his true goals lies with his own people. “My dream is to go to the prisons where I used to be – Ramallah prison, Muskavit prison – whatever prison – to go there and say ‘hey, there is a different way you can live from the way Yassir Arafat and Ahmed Yassin are brainwashing you to believe.’ I want to debate them and tell them why there are not 72 virgins or any of this other garbage that is being taught in their schools.”

In his appearances at mosques, synagogues and on radio talk shows, Shoebat is more than willing to take questions from Jews, Arabs and Islamists alike. One student at the University of Toronto asked Shoebat what he recommends Israel do to put an end to the Jihad being waged against her.

“Most Jews believe in a two-state solution,” answered Shoebat, “I do not believe in this. A Palestinian state will concoct its own rules and laws to continue the killing of Jews.” He suggested instead that Israel, “Wake up and smell the Hummus. We must return to the status quo – the occupation. There were jobs, people went to work and supported their families, and whoever got involved with terrorism was exiled or imprisoned – like any modern country in the world. I think Israel should stand strong and fight – dismantle Hamas and take away all the weapons, the way it used to be. The introduction of weapons into Palestinian society by Israel [under the Oslo accords, Israel gave assault rifles to Arafat’s ‘police force’ –ed.] was a disaster and they must be confiscated.”

Answering another question about life in Yesha (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) before the 1967 war, Shoebat described what life was like in Jericho at the time:

“We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians – they removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all of the sudden we had a Palestinian flag.”

Shoebat feels very strongly that the ongoing war against Israel has nothing to do with an Arab desire for a Palestinian state. “Never in history was there a Palestinian state,” said Shoebat, “we never wanted a Palestinian state – even today the Palestinians do not want a Palestinian state…”

“Then what do they want?” asked Tovia Singer.

“They want the destruction of the Jews, period,” Shoebat said. “It’s a religious holy war. It’s in the culture, the tradition. Arafat is a chip off the same block as Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, Ahmed Yassin – they are all birds of a feather, they have small differences but are birds of a feather.”

Asked by Singer what his message to the Jewish people today is, Shoebat thought for a moment and responded: “Your God is an awesome God and your land and your people are awesome. Hold tight and be strong. Do not be weakened by the nations of the world and all those trying to weaken you and take your land.”

As an afterthought, but said with a sense of great urgency, the former terrorist turned lover of Zion implored the Nation of Israel, “Please take back the holy Temple Mount.”

Don't Blame Zionism For The Violent Arab Culture
15:46 Aug 13, '04 / 26 Av 5764

The journalist and former Kuwaiti Communications Minister, Dr. Sa'ad Bin-Tafla, said that violent tendencies in Arab culture have deep roots and are not a product of the conflict with Zionism.

"I believe we are all responsible for this culture and Zionism and Imperialism have no part in it," Bin-Tafla declared in a recent interview with Jordanian television, "It is incorrect to say that violence is the result of the occupation. The French occupation left Algeria after a million victims fell, and then 100,000 Algerians were slaughtered by other Algerians, in the name of Islam, within less than ten years. That is to say, sadly, more than even Israel could have killed during the period of the intifada. This violence has cultural roots, unconnected to the occupation....

"The number of killed in Algeria and those killed by other Arab regimes is greater than the number of Palestinians killed by Israel..." the former Kuwaiti minister explained, adding, "There is a culture of violence that existed before the Americans arrived in Iraq and the Gulf, and even before the Israeli occupation in Palestine; before the American occupation in Afghanistan...."

Bin-Tafla stated, "the slaughter, the destructive abuse, the anarchy and the bloodshed do not approach in any way the legal definition of Jihad or resistance. It is anarchy and terrorism and is indicative of frustration and a culture of collective suicide reminiscent of whales [which beach themselves]. Such a culture stems from objective and personal reasons."

Bin-Tafla traces the source of much of the frustration among Arab youth to "an extremist religious stream" in the Islamic world. "It tells [the youth], 'You must achieve one of two things - martyrdom or victory,'" the Kuwaiti journalist explained, "It prettifies the culture of violence and describes it as resistance and Jihad."

Bin-Tafla also lays the blame on the Arab media: "Unfortunately, many in television, radio and print media... pushed these youth towards frustration and caused them to die needlessly, killing others with them, and to divide the world into black and white."

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

The arabs were doing far better under so called Israeli "occupation" than they are now. The terrible fate is the fact they are genocidal bigots and therefore have no time to work on anything else other than killing Jews.

Being given electricity and water from Israel, and being given more aid per capata than anyone else in the world, why would they have to concentrate on anything else other than the industry of terrorism? Why would they? They found something they do better than anyone else int he world(terror), and they have no intention of changing careers.

Like those high-tech greenhouses in Gaza. Who bought them and gave them to the palestinians?(American Jews) And who went right ahead and destroyed them thereby denying themselves of an excellent money earner(palestinians)?

It never even crossed their birdbrains that perhaps those greenhouses would provide them with an HONEST and non-violent income. They don't care, not when they're showered with aid. What else do they have to do?

Remember the mayor of a Palestinian village, Zuhir Hamdan, who publicly stated that his villagers preferred to live, not under Arafat, but Israel? He was gunned down, but luckily survived.
Palestinians would be better off staying under Israeli rule (as some Palestinians admit, when safe to do so). To the extent that the Arabs living in Israel have accepted Western values such as individual responsibility, property rights, and the rule of law, they have thrived. The material evidence of that flourishing can be seen in the relatively high standard of living found in many Arab villages in Israel. Indeed, Palestinians rely on the relative economic freedom and prosperity offered in Israel to make a living.

What Arab country gives its inhabitants the liberty to protest, to publish articles and books opposing the government (as many Jews and Palestinians do in Israel)? In Israel Arab minsters of the Knesset(parliament) openly call for Israel's destruction! Where else would something like this be possible without getting arrested?

What Arab country has free elections or a judicial system in which all are treated equally before the law? None. In Israel, Palestinians have more freedom and more economic opportunities than they have in any Arab country, and than they could possibly have in a future Palestinian state run by Hamas or fatah or any other dictatorial group.

Palestinians Who Cling to Israel
by Daniel Pipes (July 10, 2005)

Israel's interior minister recently declared that after their release from long jail sentences, four Palestinian Arabs convicted of helping with suicide bombings in 2002, killing 35, will be expelled from Israel. They would, the Associated Press reported, "lose the privileges of permanent residents, such as social security and health insurance."

The minister's decision raises a question: Why would Palestinians engaged in destroying the state of Israel feel punished by losing the right to live in Israel? One would expect that anti-Israel terrorists would prefer to live in the Palestinian Authority (PA).

One would be wrong. Palestinian Arabs - even terrorists - generally prefer life in what they call the "Zionist entity." On two occasions, this pattern became especially clear: when eastern Jerusalem in 2000 and part of the Galilee Triangle in 2004 were slated for transfer to PA control. In both cases, the Palestinians involved clung to Israel.

When Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak's diplomacy raised the prospect, in mid-2000, of some Arab-majority parts of Jerusalem being transferred to the PA, a Palestinian Arab social worker found that "an overwhelming majority" of Jerusalem's 200,000 Arabs chose to remain under Israeli control. A member of the Palestinian National Council, Fadal Tahabub, specified that 70% preferred Israeli sovereignty. Another politician, Husam Watad, described people as "in a panic" at the prospect of finding themselves under PA rule.

Israel's Interior Ministry duly reported a large increase in applications for citizenship and one city councilor, Roni Aloni, reported what he was hearing from Jerusalem Arabs: "we are not like Gaza or the West Bank. We hold Israeli IDs. We are used to a higher standard of living. Even if Israeli rule is not so good, it is still better than that of the PA." A doctor applying for Israeli papers explained, "we want to stay in Israel. At least here I can speak my mind freely without being dumped in prison, as well as having a chance to earn an honest day's wage."

To stop this Palestinian Arab rush for Israeli citizenship, the ranking Islamic official in Jerusalem issued an edict prohibiting it, and the Palestine Liberation Organization's agent in Jerusalem, Faisal al-Husseini, went further, calling this step "treason." This proved ineffective, so al-Husseini threatened that taking out Israeli citizenship would result in the confiscation of one's home.

In the Galilee Triangle, a Palestinian-majority area in the north of the country, just 30% of the Arab population agreed to some of the Galilee Triangle being annexed to a future Palestinian state, according to a May 2001 survey, meaning that a large majority preferred it to remain in Israel. By February 2004, when the Sharon government released a trial balloon about giving the PA control over the Galilee Triangle, the Haifa-based Arab Center for Applied Social Research found the number had jumped to 90%. And 73% of Triangle Arabs said they would use violence to prevent changes in the border.

Local politicians fiercely denounced Israel ceding any part of the Galilee. An Arab member of Israel's parliament who once served as adviser to Yasser Arafat, Ahmed Tibi, called the idea "a dangerous, antidemocratic suggestion." Intense Arab opposition prompted quick abandonment of the transfer idea.

Also in 2004, when Israel's security fence went up, some Palestinian Arabs had to choose on which side of the fence to live. Most, along with Ahmed Jabrin of Umm al-Fahm, had no doubts. "We fought [the Israeli authorities so as] to be inside of the fence, and they moved it so we are still in Israel."

That Palestinian Arabs in large numbers prefer to live under Israeli control appears to result more from practical considerations than from an intent to submerge the Jewish state demographically. They see the PA as impoverished, autocratic, and anarchic. As one Palestinian explained, it is "an unknown state that doesn't have a parliament, or a democracy, or even decent universities."

Palestinian Arabs are not so committed ideologically as to disdain the good life that residence in Israel offers. Two long-term conclusions follow. First, were Palestinian Arab demands for a "right of return" to Israel ever met, a massive population influx into Israel would result. Second, any final-status agreement that requires turning Israeli-ruled land to the Palestinians will be very hard to implement.

Re: "No-one is safe" - Life and death in Gaza, Palestine

Islam is a hate crime.

YOU KNOW THAT.
------------------------
Islam’s House of Islam and House of War

The world is divided into the House of Islam and the House of War, the Dar al-Islam and the Dar al-harb. The Dar al-Islam is all those lands in which a Muslim government rules and the Holy Law of Islam prevails. Non-Muslims may live there on Muslim sufferance. The outside world, which has not yet been subjugated, is called the "House of War," and strictly speaking a perpetual state of jihad, of holy war, is imposed by the law. The law also provided that the jihad might be interrupted by truces as and when appropriate.

The law thus divides unbelievers theologically into those who have a book and profess what Islam recognizes as a divine religion and those who do not; politically into dhimmis, those who have accepted the supremacy of the Muslim state and the primacy of the Muslims, and harbis, the denizens of the Dar al-harb, the House of War, who remain outside the Islamic frontier, and with whom therefore there is in principle, a canonically obligatory perpetual state of war until the whole world is either converted or subjugated.

"The truth is that Palestine is no more real than Never-Never Land".

What an utter load of pathological Zionist tripe designed to cover the Israeli Genocide of the Palestinians.

These mentally disordered Zionisti are trying to lead the world into nuclear war with their bellicose threats against Iran.

Olmert the Jewish butcher of Lebanon has made it quite plain what the Zionists intend. However if they push that button then its the Masada option before Israel finally gets the message.

The whole history of this bestial nation is nothing but a blood stained gag on the freedom of speech that would seek to censure Israel for its never ending criminality and war crimes.

Apartheid .. Genocide .. Theft .. Rape .. extra judicial killings .. The good news is that millions of honorable Jews around the world are uniting in condemnation of Zionism.

Re: "The Death Toll Rises"

It is all very well and good to talk about Palestinian deaths, but you must also look at the Israeli deaths caused by Palestinian "freedom fighters."
