Around 20 people are at Paekoa Rd gate. The logging of pine trees was supposed to start on Thursday but was called off. A Tūhoe activist said that they don't want any pine trees on their land. However, they think that further pine trees are going to be planted (instead of native bush). The Waimana occupation will see support from Maungapohatu community too who will be closing the gate to the Waimana block of access from the southern side.
