Tame Iti was back in jail yesterday. He was arrested on Tuesday morning in Whakatane for breaching his bail conditions. Tame failed to report on Monday because he got the days mixed up.

After the night in the cells, he was released again today in the Whakatane District Court. The judge felt the bail conditions are very harsh. However, the prosecution is not prepared to change any of them. Tame's lawyer may now seek variation of bail in the High Court.
