Strange, how some people seem so attracted to torture and mutilation. Why not just kill people if you really believe they are unendurable? Is it because the poster above doesnt want to kill somebody unecessarily? Or is it that the poster doesn't object to the existance of judges, only their decisions? Or is it simply that some nazi went inside recently? I guess the word "jewdiciary" indicates the latter.
In my opinion, its all about fascism. Fascism is based on the principle of fear, of a universal capitalist state of fear, and to this end, torture is more useful than death.
Now (on a side-bend), I think this society is mostly a mix of collectivist, neo-liberal, and neo-fascist aspects. The neo-fascism bit involves the link between the capitalist systems of exploitation and the official systems of domination.
One licit millionaire gangster objected to my saying such stuff in the hearings this week on the high-rise rezoning in New Brighton. He said my presentation on behalf of a marginalised community, against a calculated alliance of property speculators and council officials, was the most disgusting thing he'd ever heard.
And I say, thanks for the positive feedback, I'd be disapointed if my truth didn't hit power where it hurts. In its legitimicy.
Neo-fascist proponents like to disguise their programme in double-speak, sort of like a layer of ecological and democratic pavlova on top of shit-cake. After 1984, they don't have to 'surge' into power, they just have to reinforce 'business as normal'. So they 'slide', aligning partly with markets (neo-liberalism) and partly with democracy (collectivism), but always trying to arrange forms of privatisation that lock into forms of official state support. Its not full-on fascism, 1930's style, but it sure seems like an NZ form of neo-fascism.
So in some ways its useful to have a reminder, as in the above post, that the old un-reconstructed fascist principle of unending torture and fear is still around, and still wanting Judges, so long as they obey their rulers. The rulers with the side-cutters.
Though of course, that whole post could be spurious. Perhaps it should be side-cut ;-)
