What an farc. This this whole thing is being drive by he Patriot Act, a law originating in the US where the individual's right to bear arms is in the Constitution.
There are a hell of a lot of arms in NZ, many of them unregistered. We should be FOR the right to own and bear arms. The state is armed, the people should be to.
Note that this is NOT a call for people to arm themselves and attack the state. The right of the people to bear arms is, as the US Constitution says, a defence against TYRANNY.
