I am so sick of the violence v. non-violence bullshit. We all have a moral, legal, and human obligation to use the pain compliance tactics that will stop rape, racism, and murder. If we do not use effective tactics then we are worse than useless. If a candlelight vigil causes enough pain (i.e. a conscience that hurts) to those committing abuses, then great.

But if not, then we must up the pain until they stop. The trick is the appropriate tactic applied directly, immmediately, and painfully to key vulnerable areas. For example, a sharp knife to the groin of a rapist when a request to cease the assault has not caused compliance.

Thanks so much to all of those who stood in the streets and fought these vicious geldings!

You had every right to use whatever tactics you had at your disposal to dismantle this blatant incitement to genocide.
