yeah, its true that consumers need to use non-polluting energy generation - not coal. This arguement though is often targetted at residential use. If you really want to conserve power, perhaps people could start a campaign aimed at safer, warmer, affordable housing, and retail outlets. i dunno, just an idea that may or may not be of any use.
