i agree with the post about police being victims. of course they are - just like any worker bound to a wage. police are victims as much as any worker. we have to respect the position they are in. understand the position they are in. BUT of course we must also defend ourselves......
It is true that we must be aware of how to handle police brutality. OF course we must because it would be silly to just ignore the fact that it is the police who will be the first hurdle toward liberation. The police are not just the ones who turn up on the frontlines. the police D. is a very complex organisation which ultimately works to uphold capitalist order. Sure people who work for the police and are police are victims....it is true that they are probably just as afraid as you and i about the future of the world. SO they are passionate about keeping this safe secluded order we live in now. The police are our sisters and brothers - we must not hate the police. But we must protect ourselves!!!!!! WE must not tolerate the powers and authority of the police....but we must see the police as equal to us on a bio-level. They are alive just as pigs are. They have rights.......it is their POWER that must be fought. Not police themselves. But again, we MUST be prepared and know HOW to defend ourselves. It is our RIGHT to have the POWER to defend ourselves and counter the POWER and WEAPONS the police are given the authority to use in order to protect the MASSES.
Power to the people. Dismantle the system cop by cop....
