Re: 1000 + in Hikoi ki Whakatane

What a sad manipulation of children, stringing signs around their necks and making them march down a street.

Its a shame you don't spend as much time encouraging them to get an education and change the system from within without resorting to guns and violence.

Pathetic.

???
cops march into a community with guns and threaten people and they have a measured responce -

what the fk are you on about - your racism isnt welcome here. notice how there wasnt armed police with black masks in wellington or auckland?

I'm not replying to the poster above me, but the one above him

If you are going to comment, then do it with facts, Whare Kura kids are top in maths in this country, they learn three to four languages, more than the monolingual middle NZ clots in this country. They are more politically aware than your average kid, and therefore are more vocal than your average kid, they are well informed of the issues and they are allowed to act upon them, last time I looked every citizen of this country has the right to protest, even children. What is middle NZ going to legislate that right away as well? Just like the Foreshore and Seabed. When was the last time a Pakeha kid under the age of 5 had guns pointed at THEM. If it was Pakeha kids on that bus there would be friggen outrage. Thanks for the support Pakeha from Aus
