So let me get this straight if Kyle Chapman or some other National Front 'activists' were arrested for similar kinds of activity the progressive left would be protesting for their release as political prisioners?
I find that the measure of someone morality is defined by the consistency that they apply their values.
But I don't know whether a majority white neighbourhood would be raided by masked and commando equipped cops with guns out.
And what 'similar activities' are you referring to? Do you actually know the specifics of what they've been charged with? If not, I think you should wait until the suppression orders are lifted and the cops present their version of the evidence. The national front have been engaging in the activity I assume that you're thinking of, for a while and there are public photos on this site showing them in the bush and with their guns.
That evidence is undeniable and we know the context because the NF have told us themselves what they've been doing.
The difference in this case is that we have no context, all we know is some people were seen and photographed with guns, we don't know much more than that and the spin that the media and cops have put on it. Shit they could have been shooting possums, and some cops on a fishing expedition snapped a shot, that proves nothing.
err if there was a terrorist training camp or alleged domestic violence incident in a <sic> white neighborhood, then you can bet your last benefit payment that the cops would be out in all their glory- do you guys live under well known for over kill, I think they handled the incident far too softly- they should have kicked the bejesus out of the bad ass commando "Lockett", and not have left it tomushroom in Dingily Dell, or something- the cops are the inmates to do-
I think it was the intercepted phone conversations, the txts and the threatening of the hunters with fire arms" i.e. get off our fucking land or else"- sort of tipped the balance, as a society we can not have these types of people running loose. Why you guys support them is beyond me, they are loose units and for many of you it's going to be the end of the road by wrote merely associating with them
The real agenda keeps reasserting itself. The right-wing trolls are at paints to emphasise that we are all going to jail for associating with such dangerous Maori terrorists as Omar Hamed (whose name was "Te Hameti" before he changed it to fool the hated Pakeha).
Which is exactly what we have kept saying - the whole purpose of this raids is to intimidate all radical activists.
And yet you still have not answered the question -would you stand up for Kyle Chapman and his national front raidicals if they were arrested in exactly the same circumstances.
My guess is that you'll probably keep oon avoiding the question with claims of police repression and intimdation to hide the real issue here.
If Kylee and the boys were arrested and thrown in jail for two years without bail on the basis of secret evidence, I would hold my nose and point out that it was contrary to natural justice. I would demand to see the evidence - just as I'm doing now.
It's really swell that your such a good judge of character. We should just release all these people no because someone who is a close friend of his knows that he isn't a threat. In fact why don't we we ask the friends and associates of every person on criminal charges about their purity of character to determine to guilty. Wouldn't that be a great idea?
What about the chch farmer who has actually shot at fishermenand is at court right now? Because Federated Farmers are behind him, and that he's Pakeha it makes it ok? Whereas Tuhoe verbally threatened others, it makes them sure-thing 'terrorists'? No, race relations are fine in NZ....
