Sounds a great hui. One thing. A koha is a gift. If you wish to ask for a koha then u cannot determine the amount. A koha is given with aroha. The giver decides what to give which can be anything from aroha to a cabbage to money and anything else. If you want to suggest an amount which I can understand you want to to cover costs etc it is best just to say that.

Sorry but the word koha is one of the most misunderstood words in Te Reo Maori.

Would be great to have more of these hui around the country to bring all of us together as the pressure goes on not only those in prision but also those trying to care and support their whanau/community.
