Pssst...your ignorance or lame attempt to provoke is showing. You really don't give a damn about the issues relating to the Tuhoe hikoi OR the people you dismiss as being on the dole. The Treaty of Waitangi guaranteed Maori rights and privileges of British subjects - but they weren't even paid the same amounts - eg Old Age pension - at the beginning. And Maori returning soldiers weren't entitled to the same benefits (eg opportunity to build homes on their papakainga) as Pakeha soldiers either. So, 60 or so years on, the dole ain't nothing to be thankful for and is a non-starter as far as this debate goes. I suppose it's beyond you to think of a decent, reasoned argument?
