The New Zealand Defence Industry Association has been holding their abhorrent conference, attended by over 200 representatives from defence forces and weapons manufacturers from all over the world, for four years now.

Previously held in Aotearoa's national museum, Te Papa 'our place', the NZDIA was forced to run away and re-locate after protests shut down all entrances and exits into Te Papa during the conference last year.

This year, up to 20 protestors were waiting at the Duxton to meet and greet the delegates as they arrived for the start of the conference this morning. Police numbers kept increasing, as passers-by were made aware of the dodgy dealings going on above on the 8th floor of the Duxton.

All information about the new location of the conference had been kept secret by the NZDIA, in an attempt to avoid resistance from the people. But everywhere the war profiteers go, the people follow!
