Conscious Collaborations, ImagineNative Action and Te Whanau o Nice n Native
Concentrating on supporting the whanau of the arresstees, appropriately enough as an overwhelming majority of the
peoples arrested, harrassed and intimidated by the police are tangata Maori. At the moment a lot of whanau are under extreme financial pressure (often the sole bread-winner is behind bars, and there have been cases of the poaka kahurangi - cops - confiscating childrens clothing). So it is really important that we support them through donations of putea ($$), food and clothing.

Re: Upcoming Solidarity Events in Christchurch

This is dull! www.safe.org.nz is much more important!

Friday protest Otautahi, free our whaanau now.

Call out to people of Otautahi to make a statement.
Tena koutou Katoa.

This Friday, 2nd November midday in Otautahi city centre (square near kiosk) we are protesting the continualy detention of our whaanau and friends still held in Aotearoa jails without charge and with the label terrorist been given to them. We are making a call to all those who care for and support those who have been arrested to join us in this rally.Yes there has been a lot of protest so far but we beleive now is the time to say "let our Whaanau/friends go".

It was with great sadness many watched people from Ruatoki talking on TV3 about the attack on their small community.

Make a stand and join us. Help us no longer ask but demand the release of our whaanau/friends.

Walk together, talk together, cry together, act together.
