Sorry dont have time for a full write up but here are a few photos of todays demo.
Two arrests, one of someone taking down badge numbers and the other for complaining about the first arrest.
Both protests were successful and noisy with 75 people at the first and around 50 at the second despite torrential rain. 180 cops (according to one officer) have been deployed at the sites Condi is visiting and kept protesters well back.

Being a basher is not the only criteria for being able to join the police force. Firstly you have to agree to defend the rights of war criminals, mass murderers, and there is no evidence he has ever showed rapist tendencies so theyd pick up on that early into his basic training and weed him out.

Are they just sheltering from the rain or are they trying to stop people from catching the bus?

Just an observation: first world police forces view protesters as nuisances and simply try to control them unless (in their opinion) they get rowdy. On the other hand, many third world police forces view protesters as threats and routinely viciously beat or kill them.
